Mayurbhanj district, Odisha
Dense sal forests, high waterfalls and a tiger reserve in the hills of Mayurbhanj.
In the north of Odisha, the hills of Mayurbhanj are wrapped in the sal forests and grasslands of the Similipal Tiger Reserve. Elephants, deer, tigers and hundreds of bird species live here. Visitors come for forest drives, the tall Barehipani and Joranda waterfalls and quiet nights away from the city. Park entry is regulated, so trips are planned around permits and the season.
Similipal is a road trip from Rourkela. Depending on the season and the open gates, we route you through Keonjhar to the Jashipur side of the reserve or via Baripada to the Pithabata entry. Forest permits are arranged before you set off.
Inclusions are confirmed in your written quote and can be changed to suit your plan.
